Hi, I'm Natalie
Counsellor, MBACP registered
I trained to be a counsellor because having my own counselling at different stages of my life helped me to start really living. I was overwhelmed by anxiety and low self-confidence but counselling helped me to explore my feelings, learn new strategies and talk me through putting new ways of living into practice.

Now I help other people to do the same,.
I'm here to help you
live your best life
Are you dreaming of going to work not having to hold back tears on the way there?
Do you wish that leaving the house to see friends felt easy, instead of having to spend time convincing yourself it's a good idea to go?
Are there household chores piling up that you want to face but you're too exhausted from just living every day that you can't quite bring yourself to do them?

I've been there and it SUCKS. Everything feels like a battle and because work is tiring and spiking your anxiety it affects everything else.
Counselling meant I could slow down and talk about what what was causing me stress at work, why I was hesitating to see friends, and how I could make small steps to feeling like my life was back in my control.

I will be here for you as we figure out what's going on in your life and what the best next steps are for you.
My Inspiration is...
helping people as I was helped.
I've had counselling at a few different stages of life, each time helped me for a different reason.

First, at University when my anxiety and perfectionism led me on a collision course with burnout. The counselling I received helped to get me back on track and finish uni without feeling drained and hating every minute of it. Some of those lessons I've carried with me ever since.

Then, at 24 I lost a dear friend and within a year my life looked completely different; a change of job, relationships and friendships followed as I started living life through of fear of it all being gone tomorrow.
Counselling helped me to process my grief and start making changes to live up to my values (authenticity, empathy, joy and curiosity) and live the life I dreamed of.

I was lucky to be able to take a break from work to go travelling solo for 3 months. By the end of that time I knew that what I really wanted to do was become a counsellor and felt determined to come home and make it happen.
In 2018 I began my training at the University of Northampton on their MSc Counselling course, I qualified in 2021 and now I help people to live the lives they've dreamed of having.
